UC Leuven-Limburg offers profession-oriented degree programmes at the bachelor level. Our programmes guarantee a successful start in the job market. 93% of our alumni has found a job or continues to study within six months after their graduation. Within a growing job market in the wider regions of Leuven and Limburg international oriented professionals are in increasing demand. Our international programmes help you to prepare for those professional challenges.
Yes, professional is the key word here. Our programmes are invariably situated at the bachelor level, or at EQF 6 in official European standards and they are profession-oriented. Professional higher education (PHE (link is external)) plays an important role as an intermediary between higher education, and the labour market. As such, UC Leuven-Limburg is – in a way – ‘bilingual’; we speak both the academic and professional language, and are a key player in the process of a better understanding between higher education and the world of work.
Bachelor programmes are usually 180 ECTS credits and should take three years of study.
UC Leuven-Limburg has been acknowledged for its efforts and its quality. The European Commission awarded us the ECTS Label (link is external) 2011-2014. We have received, among others, an ESF-label as recognition for our project work, and an accreditation by the NIBS (link is external) network for our Business programmes.
UC Leuven-Limburg currently has two full-time bachelor programmes in English, in close cooperation with its international partners:
BBM: Business Management – Marketing, a bachelor in three years in Leuven
BME: Business Management - Marketing across Europe, a bachelor in three different countries
