As the largest faculty of teacher education in Flanders, with almost 4,000 students, the faculty is known for its  outstanding quality, practice orientation and personal guidance of each student.

More than 1000 young people with an international background already study with or visit us each year for a short or long exchange experience.

What's on offer

The Faculty of teacher education offers a spring semester to you as an exchange student. You’ll be part of a transdisciplinary student group for the Community Design Thinking course. Furthermore, our spring programme in Limburg focusses on storytelling, cultural heritage education and the teacher as a global citizen. You will also have the opportunity to engage in project-based learning experiences. Although the main language in the region of Flanders is Dutch, all courses are taught in English.
