Tuition fee and loans
  • The 10 course/30 credit hour core MBA program cost is approximately $19,700 based on 2024-2025 academic year tuition and fee rates
  • Application fee: MBA application fee, currently waived
  • Student service processing fee: $70 (once enrolled at Washburn University)
  • On-campus accommodation:  approximately $8,000 for 2 semesters (based on a double room in the WU Village and Village Meal Plan)
  • Other costs (travelling costs, other incidentals, books and health insurance): up to $6,500

 

Admission requirements and application
  • Bachelor-after-bachelor in Advanced Business Management degree without tolerated fails.
  • Official UCLL transcripts. Prior to admission at Washburn, a course-by-course evaluation ECE or WES is required.
  • University credential equivalent to a U.S. baccalaureate (bachelor's) degree, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (= 75% at UCLL) for full admission. GPA must be verified by an official course-by-course evaluation report from Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) or World Education Services (WES).
  • A fully-admitted applicants automatically qualify for a GMAT exam waiver.
  • Provisional admission is possible with a GPA between 2.0 – 2.99 on a 4.0 scale. Conditions of provisional admission could include, but are not limited to, a minimum 450 GMAT score, English preparatory courses and additional foundational pre-MBA coursework. All provisional applicants are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.  
  • Demonstrated High Level Language Proficiency: balanced TOEFL iBT score of 80 or better OR balanced IELTS score of 6.5 or better OR  Duolingo English Test overview score of 115 or better.
  • Applicants with the following OVERALL English proficiency score ranges may be considered for provisional admission: balanced TOEFL iBT score range of 72 – 79 OR balanced IELTS score range of 6.0 – 6.4 OR Duolingo English Test overview score range of 95 – 104.

Application
  • International students (on an F-1 or J-1 visa) applying to Washburn’s MBA program are required to complete a separate process in addition to the admissions process through the School of Business.  Only one online application form is required.

  • Complete the pre-application form below to request the application procedure and the application form
  • Deadline to apply is:
    • 1 April  for Summer semester
    • 15 June for Fall semester
    • 15 November for Spring semester
