BIP HRM: Unlocking Human Capital
The BIP HRM: Unlocking Human Capital brings together Management students from all over Europe to work on a human resources project on Strategic Talent Sourcing. The main objective of this week is to provide students with the necessary tools to thrive in a diverse and international business environment. While working on a complex HR case in international teams, students will develop and strengthen the following dimensions: integration of different HRM techniques, English language skills, and finally, cross-cultural dialogue and cooperation. The programme consists of virtual meetings before a week of on-campus activities in Leuven.
Social and cultural activities are organised to allow the students to meet and bond with their fellow students from other countries. Activities are being organised online before the exchange week and during the exchange week in Leuven.
Programme
Do you know how to manage diverse teams?
- Do you know how to create a diverse and motivated team that enjoys working in company?
- How do you ensure the best match between companies and young potentials: what motivates young potentials and what do companies have to offer?
- How do you attract young potentials to your company?
- How do you retain a talented workforce?
More and more companies are struggling to attract and retain the incredible talent young potentials have to offer, which makes these questions more relevant than ever. Besides that, our internationalised world forces companies to look beyond the borders of its own domestic society. Therefore, this international BIP HRM: Unlocking Human Capital offers opportunities to both companies and students involved as it will broaden their perspectives and offer solutions to real-life problems. It aims to provide students with all tools necessary to cope with this authentic issue in their future careers.
During this BIP, you will have to solve a challenging case study in the field of Strategic Talent Sourcing. To complete this assignment, you will have to draw upon your knowledge of several disciplines, but you will also be assisted by professionals through company visits, guest lectures, international coaches, and international perspectives you bring together through collaboration.
This BIP is developed as a competition. The best team will receive an award at the end of the BIP. Team spirit, commitment, enthusiasm and initiative are decisive factors in this competition.
