BIP: Sustainable Finance | UCLL

In this international week, you will be working and reflecting on cases related to sustainable finance. You will be working in an international team. These groups will consist of Belgian students and students from  other European countries. The language of communication is English.

We combine these groups assignments with several guest lectures and socio-cultural activities.

Programme

Help us to create a more sustainable financial world!

During this week several guest lecturers will give us food for thought on how to create a more sustainable financial world. How are financial institutions approaching the sustainability topic today and what are the evolutions to be expected in future. How do they find an equilibrium between sustainability and profitability?

We will be focusing on three topics:

  1. Sustainable investments
  2. Sustainable lending
  3. Sustainable financial institutions

Participants are divided into international teams in which they will work on an assignment related to sustainable finance. At the end of the week their results will be presented to a jury and the other groups.

Which group will come up with the best ideas to create more sustainability in the financial world?

Miscellaneous

The mind needs some relaxation as well and this we offer in the form of an international food reception, sports activities, cultural visit, official closing dinner and goodbye party.
